Step 1: Learn to Skate – Every hockey player has to be able to skate and there’s no better place to take the first steps than the Capital Clubhouse Skating Academy. Check out our page here.
Step 2: Little Stars Intro to Ice Hockey & Youth Learn to Play Hockey- These programs introduce aspiring players to hockey skating, stick handling, passing, & shooting skills. Check out Southern MD Sabres' web site here.
Adult Recreational League
Put your skills to the test by playing on a recreational team. Want to join the Capital Clubhouse Adult Hockey League (CCHAHL)? Email Andy Parker or Christine Brock at icehockey@capitalclubhouse.com.
Want to sharpen your skills?
Stick’n’Puck - informal skating, passing, and shooting practice time for kids and adults, including goalies. Helmets required. Full equipment required for youth, recommended for adults. No instruction provided. Limited to the first 35 players! All players, including goalies and adults accompanying children, must pay. $11/player
Pick-up - informal game time for players: Adults 18+ Admission $11. Full equipment required. Limited to the first 35 players! First two goalies to sign up (in person) are free.

High School Ice Hockey
